News update from Sunday July 12, 2009

This past weekend we visited family and friends near Westby WI.  We played and sang for Steve (Sandy's brother) and Mary's outdoor cookout on Saturday and then played and sang for an outdoor worship service Sunday morning.  Much of our family attended that service too.  Daniel and Mandi could not make the trip because of work, but the rest of our family was there, even Joel.  We had a marvelous weekend and spent as much time as possible catching up with everyone.  We want to thank Mary and Jerry Gehle for hosting us over the weekend.  They are a blessed couple, and so are Ray and Rachel Johnson, who hosted us last year.  We sang many of the new songs that we'll be recording in just a few weeks.
